The ADA is an ethically-driven, patient-centered and science-based association. It is a not-for-profit organization that was founded in 1859 and is America’s largest dental association. It is committed to its members and the improvement of oral health for the public on national, state and local levels. Help to its members include various types of information sources like dentistry research and statistics information, practice resources, legal resources and business information and solutions.
The Southern Nevada Premier Study Club is affiliated with the International Team of Implantologists and is one of Las Vegas’s elite study clubs for advanced dentistry. The club holds monthly meetings for dentists and staff to ensure continuous education in excellence in dentistry for southern Nevada, and also welcomes quality speakers to address members.
The SNDA connects leading dental professionals in the Southern Nevada district while facilitating ongoing education in dental treatment and technology. It has as goal the improvement of patient dental health in the area by providing state of the art research and information resources for member dentists. The SNDA is a component of the American Dental Association and the Nevada Dental Association.
The ITI was founded in 1980 and has 2 main goals: obtaining information on and discussing the latest developments in implant dentistry as science, and strong patient focus. Their motto is “to promote and disseminate knowledge on all aspects of implant dentistry and related tissue regeneration through education and research to the benefit of the patient.” ITI also offers study clubs that provide members with the latest developments in implant dentistry, while opening the floor to clinical discussions and exchanges of expertise and experience during study groups.
The TMJ Association Ltd (TMJA) is a nonprofit, patient advocacy organization which mission is to improve the quality of health care and lives of everyone affected by Temporomandibular Disorders (TMD). Members attend scientific meetings with speakers who are specialists in the field and also receive a science journal called TMJ Science, which keeps them up to date with the latest research and findings in the field of TMD.
The AADSM provides its members with training and resources to keep them up to date with practical information with regards to dental sleep medicine. Participating or member dentists attend the annual meeting, ongoing educational courses on cutting-edge findings and also take part in study clubs. They furthermore receive the Journal of Dental Sleep Medicine (JDSM) which provides them with valuable and up-to-date information in the field.
